A brief (video) chat with Allison Bailes about his new book

During the BPA National Conference—not in New Orleans, but in your home and mine—I got to sit down with Allison Bailes and chat about his upcoming book, A House Needs to Breathe … Or Does It? That’s a working title, but it caught my attention. I predict some good myth-busting, and asking the difficult questions about long-held assumptions.  Before "rolling tape," we discussed his incredible garden off-camera for quite a while, as well as the fact that over ten years ago, he bought my book, Rocket Mass Heaters for a woodburning project. Small world! On tape, we talked about the audience for his new book, how to pre-order it, and how to follow the Energy Vanguard blog to learn more about building science in general. He’s been keeping that blog up for over ten years!

It’s fun to revisit some of these conversation and sessions, as the Building Performance Association Virtual Conference stretches into the present, available in the Learning Library.

If only Summer could stretch out as long as the Virtual Conference!

Please enjoy my brief chat with Allison Bailes.
