Hello all,

ROCIS has updated our guidance document “Ducted Range Hoods: Recommendations for New and Existing Homes” and we are seeking your valued input to help us with our outreach efforts. These efforts are targeted to contractors, industry professionals, educators, environmental health groups, and consumers. We are focused on the North American market, and need your input on how to strategically reach these audiences.

The ROCIS mission is to help people reduce exposures to exterior pollution in homes, schools, and workplaces. Because efforts to exclude exterior pollution can concentrate indoor-generated emissions, ROCIS is also addressing indoor sources, such as cooking.

Based on the latest research results and best practices, this guidance document provides crucial information on limiting exposure to cooking-related pollutants that can adversely affect our health and well-being.

Could you please fill out the brief, 5-minute survey to help us with our outreach efforts?

Thank you so much for your time - input like yours is so important to making sure “Ducted Range Hoods: Recommendations for New and Existing Homes” reaches and informs its intended audiences.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Thanks!
The ROCIS team

  • I filled out this survey and want to re-iterate that it would be a better document if it included more meaningful information related to super air-tight structures that include Passive House (Passiv Haus) and zero-energy airtightness. This is where the market is going, and moving forward, we all need to step up and make sure our documentation includes information that helps builders and architects achieve these increasingly important objectives.

    • Thanks Todd!
